When doing so, it’s even better when the run towards the ending bend is based on a numeric sequence such as the one that resides in this next lick based out of D Aeolian. Starting out with some pummeling palm-muted picking, this lick delivers the raw power and climatic anticipation to do the job right.

Jeff is an excellent musician & an awesome instructor! Good stuff!
This is one that I wouldn’t just “stumble” across on my own. Thanks.
“besides being the best instrument ever” haha more true words have never been spoken
Glad you guys liked the lick. Thanks!
nice!
this is a super cool lick it would have taken me years to figure that one out, thanks alot man (5star)
Hey Sorry for the delay! No I am sounding the end chromatic notes. Thanks for pointing out the fingering, sometimes it happens when you play something very slowly. Though in this case I don’t think it matters much to the lick. That is the full lick.
Thanks for the well thought out question. Much appreciated.
Are you ghosting the last low G between F sharp and F when you’re playing at speed or am I just not seeing what you’re doing? I ask because you’re ending up on the last note with your index finger in the real time version and on your middle finger in the slow with your index still on the low G. Or does it just not really matter?
Also, is this the entire lick 14 lesson or is there more – trying to tie it into your narrative about assaulting with a screaming bend, etc.
Thanks!
