How hard is it to learn to play the electric guitar?

i really don’t know how to play the guitar, and i been wanting to learn how to play it, but every time i get one it seems that my fingers are to big for the strings and i get frustrated, from scale from 1 to 10 ten being the hardest, how hard is it to learn to play the guitar?

   For me, learning guitar was a 2 at hardest but I know people who thought it was so hard that they had to give it up after a week or so.
   It all really depends on how much you practice, how much effort you put into it, how dedicated you are, and how much natural musical talent you have.

   dude i dont play electric but i do know your fingers are not too big.
   It depends on your teacher and how dedicated you are.
   For example, when I was in 6th grade I had an aweful teacher and didn’t care about music my parents just forced me to. In 2 months, twice a week, of practice, I didn’t learn anything except frets and strings.
   But now, one of my best friends is sorta teaching me, and I love music, absoloutely love it, and it’s much easier for me now.
   Pretty much- if the beat comes to you naturally, it will be easy. If you are not at that point yet in your musical career, it is going to be hard.

   At first guitar is really hard…(i taught myself) and painful. I remember when i first started…haha pitiful. But once you get it, you got it.

   At first: 9
   after you get it: 2

   Work around your finger issue…im sure that you’re just clumsy like all beginners are. : )

   i was learn in 6 months, is easy, the violin is HARD!.
   the piano is very easy. more than the recorder.

   it is actually easier than an aquistic guitar!
