Im learning guitar, need advice from some experienced guitar players?

ive started learning guitar, ive learned to play a few chords: E major A major D major etc. have been learning the scales aswell but thats what ive got up to now. an ideas how to progress from here??!

   i’ve played guitar for two years.It’s the best instrument and i loove it. From there i progressed to learning songs. i take guitar lessons and my teacher can listen to songs and learn chords right away.from there we would learn the chords and sing along to it…you could also go to http://www.ultimateguitar.com and look up chords to certain songs you want. if that doesn’t interest you. then experiment with your guitar.write songs and make up chords.that’s the whole fun of it.

   your on the right track, if you want to learn more than just chords you should try the website that i used to teach myself. it was really easy and now i am a pretty good guitar player or at least i consider myself one.
