I really want to learn how to play an acoustic guitar. What is the easiest way to learn?

I love to listen to country music, and now I want to learn to play the acoustic guitar. Is there any books, videos, or any other ideas you have to help me?

my grandpa taught me the basic strumming patterns in rock songs but i wanted to play southern rock and country to so i taught myself. i recommend getting a teacher or getting books i have a fretboard to country guitar book and i learn chords online. the best is to get a teacher to teach you im thinking of getting a teacher to teach me more advanced chords.
remember that even trained professionals always need practice i practice every day that i dont go to marching band to play my euphonium

you need someone who can teach you. friend, family member, or instructor. i tried books to learn piano but didn’t learn anything. I ended up asking my friends mom to teach me and in a week i learned more then two months of books.

The easiest, fastest, and best way to learn is with lessons from a good qualified local instructor. A good instructor can help you learn the proper way to play as well teach you much faster than you could yourself. Check with your local music stores to find a teacher near you

    Learning the Guitar
You need a course of instruction.
The best way is with a private teacher
    2nd would be class lessons
3rd regularly get together with other guitar players
or if you absolutely will or can not do the above, Buy a book on how to play the guitar and follow it religiously.
last would be to find some free online lessons and skip around in them doing what YOU think you want to do next.
Guitar is one of the world’s most popular instruments.
It is easy to take with you.
It has a sound that people like.
It can be use in almost any type of music.
Almost anyone can learn to play it.
Simple music is easily played after only a few days or weeks.
You can continue to learn new and challenging music forever.

While a music teacher or tutor may be able to teach you, I recommend if you have proper determination ad persistence, teaching yourself. This is what I did and I was able to work on what I felt I was capable of doing. Try learning the basic chords of C/Am and learn root notes and strum patterns. That’s a good step towards learning.

Chords in the key of C Major
    C-Dm-Em-F-G-Am-Bdim

There are better resources for learning guitar now than ever before, but the best way to learn is with a good teacher, nothing beats that now or ever will!

If you really can’t afford a teacher, you should buy and follow good lessons, and don’t skip over any because they seem too hard.

The worst way to learn is by jumping all over the place looking for free lesson.
