What are some easy songs for a beginner guitar player to learn on an electric guitar?

I recently bought a Fender Squire guitar because I really want to learn Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb second solo. But what are some other songs I can learn to work my way up that are simple?

   well any real three days grace song is easy to learn i use

   well, i assume you like rock and roll, so here are some easier ones:

   aerosmith- walk this way
   bachman turner overdrive- not fragile
   the beatles- help
   deep purple – smoke on the water

   remember that the solos may be beyond your skill right now, and if you get better try:

   ac/dc- back in black
   led zeppelin- black dog
   van halen- aint talkin bout love
   cream- sunshine of your love
