blues has nothing to do with speed, but feeling

I suggest watching some videos of Eric Clapton on youtube

My advise is this: Learn the 5 positions of the pentatonic scale. Practice it for 15 minutes per day and you’ll have it down in a week. Remember, always start and stop on your ROOT NOTES. Then just improvise in 1 position going up and down, stoping/starting, hammer ons, pull offs, vibratos, bends, just practice 1 position and make it sound awesome. You only need 4 notes to make a kick butt solo I promise. Here’s a great website that will help you with your pentatonic scales and he has lots of solos from them too. http://www.justinguitar.com

Seriously you can’t learn solos until you get your pentatonic scales down. About 90% of all solos are built from these scales. Learn them, know them, practice them and have a blast with them. They are so easy and you can do anything and I mean anything with them.

for me the simplest blues solos come from: B.B. KING!!!! he never uses no fast stuff and his licks are real easy!!!!! hope this helps……….

Truth is nobody is easy. Nobody who’s any good anyhow. Everyone brings something to the big blues buffet. What might help you is to pick up some software (I think there’s even freeware) that will help you to slow down the solos and not change the pitch. That way you can really listen to what they are playing and pick up on the details. Hope this helps a bit.

probably the most easiest is from albert king. since he’s known for using the “albert king box”. it’s shape from one of the pentatonic scale patterns. it’s not that hard he mostly plays around 2-3 notes for his soloing. not that tough, check out tutorials on youtube. but be warned albert king uses a lot of bends. definitely B.B King and Freddie King as well but albert king is probably the easiest from what i know.
