The combination of lack of care and age has caused a couple of tuning pegs on my acoustic guitar to break, the head is fine though. I’m learning guitar now, on a Fender Stratocaster immitation, I’ve been playing for 2 months now, I pick up chords and different strumming patterns easily and I think my teacher is leading me into scales, just on 3 strings so far but we add a new one each lesson.
