I go to sites that show the lyrics and when to change chords above it but how am i supposed to figure out strumming patterns? i try to listen for them but most songs i cant even hear the guitar in and even when i can i dont get it. when i ask for up downs theres so many it wont fit in the time length for a chord. like for Mine by Taylor Swift the lyrics are “(C) Do you remember when we were (G)” And someone said the pattern was “DDUUDUUDUUDU” Thats Read more...

hey guys! trying to learn how to play life after you by daughtry on an acoustic guitar. the only problem is, whenever i go to ultimateguitar.com and look up the chords, it doesn’t sound right when i play it. ok, so you now how the chords are in blue right above the lyrics? if you put your mouse over the chord it shows you where to put your fingers to play it.
