I recently got a Charvel San Dimas, and have been trying to tune a half step down. After I tune all the strings down, a few seconds later, the pitch on the strings start to raise. I check my tuner, and each string appears to be slowly moving back to standard tuning. Any idea on whats going on here?

This acoustic version of “Breathe” is very close to the one played by David Gilmour. This is a simplified strumming pattern and a much slower tempo than the original. Alright so basically I start with the low E string and tune each string down half a step, but then after that the low E string that I tuned down is back to a normal E note, not D#. Also, when I tune each string down, the floyd rose mechanism on the body of the guitar goes too low. What’s the proper way to tune each string down half a step on a floyd rose?

I’ve been trying to learn this song on the guitar for a while and I have been trying to figure out the strumming pattern for the whole song. I know the chords and the solo just not the strumming. I’m not that good at learning by ear. If anybody knows what it is or can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

I have a michael kelley hex deluxe with a floyd rose locking tremolo system that is currently set for standard tuning with the coils and string gauge. I just need to know how exactly to set everything on my guitar to switch it over to drop c tuning.
