If you play a lot, will your right hand start bleeding (without using pick) or do you develop callouses there like your left fingertips do?

I’ve been playing guitar for almost 3 year now. I know all the basics like chords and scales. Now I’ve decided to get deeper into it. First question I came up with where do you rest your picking hand while playing a solo? Do you rest it on the bridge or on the strings to mute the unnecessary ones?

On the guitar (and most other stringed instruments) I would argue that clamping the strings on the fret board is a more complicated motor skill than strumming, yet it feels more natural to work the frets with your non-dominant hand and strum (or use the bow) with your dominant hand. Why is this? You would think it would be the other way around.

i play the electric guitar and currently practicing the alternate picking. the question is i hold my pick/plectrum with my index and thumb and the rest of my fingers touch or pivot on the body of the guitar much like michael angelo batio’s style, can this gain me speed on my right hand picking? and do you have this picking style to, or experience this to? i want a advanced or a professional guitar player to answer this.
