i’ve never played before, and someone gave me a classical guitar. it has 3 plastic strings (GBE) and 3 metal (EAD), but I really don’t like how different they sound. i have 4 nylon spare strings. [e-1, e-6, g-3, &b-2]. should i mix the nylon and the metal, the nylon and the plastic, or what? i’ve never restrung a guitar before, so any advice is appreciated. Bookmark it: Read more...
I played that game with a guitar controller at EB and I liked it! I had fun playing it. How long do you think I would keep playing it? Bookmark it: Read more...
Whenever I start singing I always either screw up the timing on the guitar or simplify my guitar strumming. Any ideas? Bookmark it: Read more...
Sometimes when I play on certain frets and I hold the strings down they don’t buzz …but!…they do buzz when I let them go. Why is that? If I don’t hold any strings down and strum them all they don’t buzz at all no matter how soft or hard I play them. & What are all the different Minors a guitar has? And majors? I play acoustic guitar. I’m teaching myself guitar, so I DON’T HAVE A TEACHER. Whenever I play a chord I always end up hitting a string I’m not supposed to hit. Do your hands eventually adjust and stop hitting the wrong strings or is there something I should do? Bookmark it: Read more...
Is it bad for my guitar to keep changing the tuning. I always go back and forth from standard tuning, to open d, to dropped d, dropped c, etc. I never tune the strings higher than standard, but is it bad for the neck or the strings to do this a lot? Bookmark it: Read more...
