Where is the proper guitar picking and strumming position?

Posted by admin on 23rd August 2010 in Guitar Strumming

I have seen people pick in different places, but most either pick; over the sound hole, between the bridge and sound hole, or somewhere in the middle there. Does it matter, I know it sounds different when you play it closer to the bridge or closer to the sound hole. I just wanted to know which one is better or correct. Bookmark it: Read more...

I’ve seen several different tunings for this song. Standard, Drop-D and even some strange tuning in C (Drop-C). One example even had the guitar tuned down to a perfect 4th which i really wouldn’t have to do since I own a 7-string. Bookmark it: Read more...
