So, if I want to improvise over a backing track with a clean sound I just throw in some reverb and chorus and I’m more or less good.
What about strumming though? No matter what I use it doesn’t sound very good. Well, the guitar is kind of not-so-expensive, to say the truth.
But still, the sound of strumming is never that “juicy” as in the songs (e.g. Hey Julie by Fountains of Wayne).

I would like some good sounding strumming songs, that are very simple to play. Does anyone know of any great songs that are very easy to play for begginner guitar players? Ive gotten Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd, but its just not enough rythm for me… Thanks in advance

So I’m going to be getting guitar hero 3 on halloween and, and I just want to know this:
Like in rock band, can you play at a certain time without strumming? If so, at what times is that available? My friend told me on rock band you can do it if 1 note comes up continuously.
